Yards our crew has finished
Every photo here is a job Roots built. Bryan Johnson, our owner and landscape architect, starts each project with a landscape consultation so he can learn more about your vision, then his crews build it: retaining walls to hold a hill, pavers for walks and patios, boulder stairs, fire pits, new beds and irrigation.
Our landscaping professionals are punctual, thorough and honest. We work in Yakima, Union Gap, West Valley, Selah, Naches, Wapato and Toppenish. The named projects come first, from the Anderson side-yard walk to the Wheeler gravel path, followed by more yards, patios and walls from around the valley. If one looks close to what you want, bring a photo to the counter at 6710 Tieton Dr.
Read how the work goes on the landscaping services and hardscaping services pages.

The named projects
Thirteen jobs, by the names we know them
Scott Project
Retaining walls, waterfall, pond and lighting: from the weedy slope to the lit waterfall.

Bacon Project
Brick-inlay walk and landscape lighting

Froula Project
Basalt boulder terraces, stairs and fire pit

Van Ryder Project
Paver paths, stone steps and cedar screens

Smaller jobs, one frame each
Anderson, Casino, Staufer, Farber, Greene, Wheeler, Forrest, Mills and Vickers: paver steps, a plaza, a spillway pond, flagstone paths, patios and block stairs.

More yards around the valley
Walls, patios, paths and new beds
These are residential jobs that did not come with a project name. Block and boulder walls hold the slopes, pavers carry you from the drive to the patio, and new beds fill in around them.
